LeeShanok Network Solutions Now Delivers Dark Web Monitoring Services

LeeShanok Network Solutions Offers Monitoring and Alerting of Stolen Digital Credentials, Increasingly Valuable Asset on Dark Web

Tucson, Arizona – October 1, 2019LeeShanok Network Solutions announced its new Dark Web Monitoring Service provided through its partnership with ID Agent, provider of Dark Web monitoring and identity theft protection solutions. With Dark Web ID, LeeShanok Network Solutions offers around the clock monitoring and alerting for increasingly compromised digital credentials, scouring millions of sources, including botnets, criminal chat rooms, peer-to-peer networks, malicious websites, bulletin boards and illegal black market sites.

“We are excited to offer this addition to our existing portfolio of commercial IT services,” said Eric LeeShanok. “Our existing services host, secure, protect and maintain company domains and devices, but we cannot protect remote web-based accounts, some of which were opened a decade or more in the past often using a common password used on other sites as well. We can deliver a cost effective model that provides businesses of all sizes with the same advanced credential monitoring capabilities used by Fortune 500 companies.”

Today we know to use complex passwords different for each site, but in the past we tended to use the same password on every site to avoid forgetting them. We can now search Dark Web forums and bulletin boards for a company domain and associated email addresses, then prepare a report of these company credentials offered for sale. This provides necessary detail to change passwords within the company domain and at any remote sites where that password has been used.

“The Dark Web is made up of various digital communities, and while there are legitimate purposes for the Dark Web, it is estimated that over 50 percent of all sites on the Dark Web today are used for criminal activities, including the disclosure and sale of digital credentials. Digital credentials such as usernames and passwords are widely used to connect to critical business applications – the reason these credentials are among the most valuable assets found on the Dark Web,” said Kevin Lancaster, CEO of ID Agent.
